Attention Student Athletes & Parents! If you need your sports physical completed, plan to attend the free CFO Sports Physical event, Friday, June 8, 2012. Please download the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) physical form from your high school's website. Medical history forms must be filled out and signed by a parent or guardian prior to the event. Or, bring your parent/guardian with you. Forms will be made available to you on the day of your physical.
The Lorain County Board of Mental Health is supporting an extraordinary opportunity for Ohio high schools to receive
free access to a 1 hour practice-based online training simulation designed specifically for high school teachers and staff.
Every teacher and every student in your school can benefit from this training which aims to increase staff ability to recognize when students may be experiencing psychological distress, manage conversations with them in order to better connect them with school support services. With a particular focus on communications skills, this training also supports school climate improvement as well as individual student achievement goals.
